Whale watching & other wildlife you can expect to see... On Copper Sky's sailing adventures, watching whales is only one of the natural wonders you will experience. Photograph Wildlife: You can photograph an incredible variety of wildlife throughout your tour. Species we encounter include orca, sea lions, otter, black bears and deer. Wildlife list. Birdwatcher's Paradise: Species include bald eagles, puffins, auklets, ospreys, belted kingfishers, marbled murrelets, and many more.(see our birdwatching website) Whale Watching: Experience some remarkable whale watching including humpback, orca, fin, sei, gray, & pilot whales; Pacific white-sided dolphins and Dahls porpoise. Limestone Island: Visit the nesting home of the Ancient Murrelet and help researchers catch chicks for banding and weighing.
